WebMammograms give valuable information to doctors. This includes whether your breasts look healthy or if there is any reason for concern. A mammogram is an X-ray to examine breast tissue for tumours or other abnormalities. Normally the mammographer (who operates the X-ray machine) takes two X-rays of each breast, one from above and one from the side.
