WebI have tested this with nothirium, renderlib, mixinbootstrap and vanillafix and it seems to be an incompatibility with vanillafix's texture optimizations. Disabling the feature in config fixes the issue but reduces FPS in large modpacks (Not sure if this applies to similar mods that has the same feature).
